The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala

पद्मैरक्तैस्त्रिमध्वक्तैर्होमाल्लक्ष्मीमवाप्नुयात् । तथैव कैरवै रक्तैरंगनाः स्ववशं नयेत् ॥ ९८ ॥

padmairaktaistrimadhvaktairhomāllakṣmīmavāpnuyāt | tathaiva kairavai raktairaṃganāḥ svavaśaṃ nayet || 98 ||

Bằng cách dâng hỏa cúng (homa) với sen đỏ được xức ba thứ mật ong, người ta có thể đạt được Lakṣmī, tức phúc lộc thịnh vượng. Cũng vậy, dùng kairava đỏ theo cùng nghi thức, có thể khiến phụ nữ quy phục dưới quyền mình.
