Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a vrata-vidhi context)
Vrata: Ṣaṣṭhī (tithi-observance)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It elevates Ṣaṣṭhī-tithi from a mere calendar marker to a sacred, ever-present power associated with Agni, implying that correct observance aligns the practitioner with a purifying, siddhi-granting principle.
By presenting a disciplined vrata-vidhi as a means to “su-siddhi,” it frames devotion as practical worship expressed through time-sanctified observance—especially through reverence to the divine presence in ritual fire.
It highlights tithi-based ritual timing (a key applied discipline connected with Jyotiṣa/Vedic calendrics) and the centrality of Agni in ritual procedure—showing how observances are structured by lunar days and fire-rites.
