gaṇeśaṃ vidiśāsvarcedvasūnsūryācchivāṃstathā | bhūtāṃścetthaṃ bhajanbālāmīśaḥ syāddhanavidyayoḥ || 33 ||
Narada (teaching in a Vedanga/ritual-application context within Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a pragmatic, Vedanga-style application of devotion and ritual—linking specific deities and sacred loci with the attainment of dhana (prosperity) and vidyā (learning), culminating in mastery of the Bālā-vidyā.
Bhakti is shown as disciplined upāsanā: worship offered to Gaṇeśa, the Vasus, Sūrya, Śiva, and Bhūtas in prescribed ways, where devotion is not merely emotional but structured to yield inner capability (īśatva) and outer fruits.
It reflects ritual science and applied sacred geography (kṣetra-based worship), and hints at solar/planetary reverence (Sūrya-upāsanā) often associated with jyotiṣa-informed timing and purpose-driven rites for vidyā and prosperity.
