होमांते विवधै रत्नैः पलैरपि बलिं हरेत् । बलिं मंत्रेण विधिवद्बलिमंत्रः प्रकाश्यते ॥ १३२ ॥
homāṃte vivadhai ratnaiḥ palairapi baliṃ haret | baliṃ maṃtreṇa vidhivadbalimaṃtraḥ prakāśyate || 132 ||
Khi lễ homa kết thúc, hãy dâng lễ ‘bali’—bằng các loại châu báu, hoặc ít nhất bằng trái cây. Lễ bali phải được dâng đúng nghi thức, kèm theo thần chú; vì vậy, thần chú bali nay được tuyên bày.

It emphasizes completing a homa with a proper bali-offering, showing that ritual wholeness includes respectful offerings made with mantra and correct procedure (vidhi), not merely the fire oblations.
By insisting on offering with mantra and reverence—even if only simple fruits are available—it points to devotion expressed through sincerity and orderly worship rather than luxury alone.
