Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It prescribes an āyuṣya-homa (longevity rite) that ritually harmonizes the practitioner with the guardians of cosmic order (Lokapālas) and protective mantra-forces (astras), seeking stability of prāṇa and life-span.
Though technical and ritual-focused, it reflects bhakti through disciplined offering (homa) performed with reverence toward divine protectors; such regulated worship is presented as a supportive limb to a God-centered life.
It highlights kalpa/prayoga (ritual procedure): the spatial sequencing (“outside/externally”), specific materials (dūrvā and ghee), and targeted invocations (Lokapālas and astra-mantras) used in a prescribed homa for āyus.
