Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches a disciplined method for mantra-siddhi: external purification through homa (fire-offering) paired with internal steadiness through concentrated japa, emphasizing mental composure (samāhita) as essential.
Although technical in tone, it frames devotion as sustained practice—offering (homa) and remembrance (japa)—done with focused mind, making devotion effective rather than merely emotional.
It highlights ritual science and mantra-prayoga: proportional offering (daśāṁśa), prescribed dravya (red lotus), and a counted japa target (one lakh), reflecting the technical discipline associated with Vedic auxiliary traditions.
