Narada (instructional narration within Vedanga/vrata framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that a disciplined seven-day observance, done as prescribed, is a dharmic means to overcome “great fear,” emphasizing steadiness and correct procedure.
By stressing careful commencement and sustained practice, it supports bhakti-oriented vrata discipline—devotion expressed through orderly, time-bound observance rather than mere sentiment.
It reflects Jyotiṣa-style attention to calendrical timing—specifically the weekday (Bhauma-vāra/Tuesday)—as part of proper ritual initiation (ārambha) in vrata practice.
