Narada (teaching in a Vedanga/technical-protective context to the Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a dharmic assurance of protection and success: when one follows the prescribed sacred means (mantra/vidhi implied by the surrounding Vedanga context), adverse forces—grahas, vighnas, and human dangers—do not overpower the practitioner.
Though framed as practical protection, it aligns with Bhakti by implying reliance on sacred power and divine order rather than mere force—victory and safety are treated as fruits granted through faithful observance of scriptural practice.
Jyotiṣa and protective prayogas are suggested through the mention of grahas (planets) and vighnas (impediments), indicating applied Vedic science used for mitigating afflictions and securing auspicious outcomes.
