Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual context typical of Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a complete devotional-ritual sequence: offering to Agni, honoring the learned (brāhmaṇas), and culminating in direct Vaiṣṇava worship—integrating sacrifice, charity, and bhakti into one dharmic act.
Bhakti is expressed not only as inner faith but as reverent service: sacred offering, respectful hospitality, and focused worship at the Vaiṣṇava altar, acknowledging Viṣṇu’s presence along with attendant divine powers (Vimalā, etc.).
Ritual application (kalpa-style procedure) is emphasized: the ordered performance of homa, brāhmaṇa-bhojana, and pīṭha-pūjā—showing how correct sequence and prescribed materials (lotus) matter in Vedic/Smārta practice.
