Narada (instructing within a Vedanga/ritual-technical exposition, traditionally in dialogue framework with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes sacred order (kramāt) in ritual space: the sanctum is protected and harmonized by placing the directional guardians (Dikpālas) and their emblems at the precinct and gateways, symbolizing cosmic balance around worship.
Bhakti here is expressed through disciplined, reverent worship—devotion is not only inner feeling but also careful external honoring of Vishnu’s sacred space by installing protective deities and symbols in the proper sequence.
It reflects procedural ritual science and spatial ordering akin to Kalpa (ritual manuals) and allied temple-layout principles: where specific deities and emblems are to be placed (outer precinct vs. gateways) and in what sequence.
