Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 92

Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata

FAQs

It asserts the extraordinary efficacy of properly applied mantra-vidya: for a disciplined sādhaka, nothing remains “impossible” across the three worlds when the technical constituents are correctly understood and practiced.

While framed in technical terms, it supports bhakti-based upāsanā by emphasizing that sincere, methodical practice empowers the devotee to overcome obstacles; mantra becomes a tool that strengthens focused remembrance and worship.

A mantra-technical principle: results depend on precise use of sound-units—letters/syllables (arṇa) and coded constituents (rasa)—reflecting the Vedanga-aligned stress on correct phonetics and formulation in ritual and recitation.
