Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata
एवमावरणैरिष्ट्वा पञ्चभिर्गणनायकम् । साधंयेदखिलान्कामान्वक्रतुंड प्रंसादतः ॥ ७३ ॥
evamāvaraṇairiṣṭvā pañcabhirgaṇanāyakam | sādhaṃyedakhilānkāmānvakratuṃḍa praṃsādataḥ || 73 ||
Như vậy, khi phụng thờ Gaṇanāyaka (Gaṇeśa) bằng năm “āvaraṇa” hộ trì, người ấy sẽ thành tựu mọi điều mong cầu, nhờ ân phúc của Đấng “Vòi Cong” (Vakratūṇḍa).

It teaches that ritual completeness—worship performed with the prescribed five āvaraṇas—invokes divine prasāda, through which goals are fulfilled in a dharmic way.
