Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata
इदमर्ध्यं कल्पयामि हृदंतोऽर्ध्यमनुर्मतः । स्तुत्वा नत्वा विसृज्याथ यजेच्चंद्रमसं पुनः ॥ ५१ ॥
idamardhyaṃ kalpayāmi hṛdaṃto'rdhyamanurmataḥ | stutvā natvā visṛjyātha yajeccaṃdramasaṃ punaḥ || 51 ||
“Với lòng thành từ tận đáy tim, con chuẩn bị lễ arghya này theo điều truyền thống chuẩn thuận.” Sau khi tán thán và đảnh lễ, hãy rót thả arghya ấy, rồi lại thờ phụng Mặt Trăng.
Narada (teaching ritual method, in dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara lineages)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that ritual efficacy depends on both correct procedure (approved arghya-vidhi) and inner sincerity—offering arghya with a heartfelt mind, followed by praise, prostration, and continued worship of Candramas.
Bhakti is expressed through stuti (praise) and namaskāra (bowing) before and after the offering, showing reverence and sustained upāsanā rather than a one-time act.
It reflects Jyotiṣa-linked upāsanā (lunar deity worship) and the ritual sequencing of arghya—prepare, praise, bow, offer/release, and resume worship—emphasizing rule-based (anumata) performance.
