Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches self-purification through mantra—using a structured set of core (Mūla) and auxiliary mantras to consecrate the body as fit for worship and higher practice.
By prescribing bodily and ritual sanctification before worship, it supports disciplined devotion—preparing the practitioner to approach the deity with purity, focus, and reverence.
Ritual technique (prayoga)—mantra application and consecratory sprinkling—reflecting technical liturgical knowledge aligned with Vedāṅga-style procedural precision, though expressed here in a Tantric idiom.
