गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
पुपोष सगरं बालं तन्माता प्रीतिपूर्वकम् । चौलोपवीतकर्माणि तथा चक्रे मुनीश्वरः ॥ १२ ॥
pupoṣa sagaraṃ bālaṃ tanmātā prītipūrvakam | caulopavītakarmāṇi tathā cakre munīśvaraḥ || 12 ||
Với tình thương sâu đậm, mẹ hiền âu yếm nuôi dưỡng hài nhi Sagara; và bậc thánh hiền tôn quý cũng cử hành cho chàng các nghi lễ cạo tóc (cūḍā/caula) cùng lễ thọ dây thiêng (upanayana).
