The Characteristics of Devotion to Hari
तस्माच्छृणुष्व देवर्षे भजस्व सततं हरिम् । मा कुरुष्व ह्यहङ्कारं विद्युल्लोलश्रिया वृथा ॥ २६ ॥
tasmācchṛṇuṣva devarṣe bhajasva satataṃ harim | mā kuruṣva hyahaṅkāraṃ vidyullolaśriyā vṛthā || 26 ||
Vì vậy, hỡi bậc thánh hiền thiên giới, hãy lắng nghe kỹ và luôn luôn phụng thờ Hari. Chớ nuôi dưỡng ngã mạn, vì phú quý thế gian mong manh, chập chờn như tia chớp; gắng sức vì nó trong hư danh chỉ là vô ích.
Sanatkumāra (teaching Nārada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It urges steady devotion to Hari and warns that ego and attachment to unstable worldly fortune obstruct liberation; true security is in constant bhakti.
Bhakti is presented as continuous worship and attentive listening to sacred instruction—keeping Hari at the center rather than chasing temporary success.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical-spiritual discipline—humility (freedom from ahaṅkāra) supporting mantra-japa, śravaṇa, and daily Hari-upāsanā.
