Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama
Narada (teaching dharma/ācāra in dialogue context with the Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that purity is not only physical but also verbal and mental; during purificatory acts, disciplined silence safeguards sanctity and prevents ritual fault (doṣa).
By insisting on careful conduct during cleansing rites, it supports bhakti through reverence and attentiveness—treating purification as service and preparation for worship rather than a casual act.
It reflects Kalpa/Smārta-vidhi (ritual procedure) and śauca-ācāra: the practical rule that one should maintain silence while performing ācamana/āpośana and while in a state of contact with impurity.
