यज्ञं च तर्पणं चैव कुर्वंतं नाभिवादयेत् । कृतेऽभिवादने यस्तु न कुर्यात्प्रतिवादनम् ॥ ४३ ॥
yajñaṃ ca tarpaṇaṃ caiva kurvaṃtaṃ nābhivādayet | kṛte'bhivādane yastu na kuryātprativādanam || 43 ||
Không nên đảnh lễ người đang cử hành yajña hay đang làm lễ tarpaṇa (rưới nước cúng). Và nếu ai đã được đảnh lễ mà không đáp lễ lại, thì đó cũng là hạnh kiểm không đúng phép.
