Nārada’s Hymn to Viṣṇu
Nāradasya Viṣṇu-stavaḥ
Narada (devotional declaration of śaraṇāgati within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) in the Supreme who pervades the entire cosmos as Viśvarūpa while remaining asaṅga—showing that liberation comes from surrender to the transcendent-immanent Lord.
Bhakti here is expressed as surrender to the Lord present in all forms; the devotee recognizes God’s presence everywhere yet worships Him as the unattached, complete Reality, deepening reverence and non-possessive devotion.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the key takeaway is Vedāntic discernment (viveka) supporting devotion—seeing the world as God’s manifestation without mistaking God as bound by worldly association.
