Narada
Vrata: Vāmana-vrata (contextual)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It elevates practical charity (annadāna—feeding the worthy) as a powerful dharmic act, declaring that sincere giving and feeding, done within one’s means, can yield sacrificial-level merit.
While framed as dharma and ritual merit, it supports bhakti-oriented living by valuing humble service and generosity over costly rites—offering food to the righteous becomes an accessible expression of reverence and purity.
Ritual praxis (kalpa-oriented conduct) is implied: the verse gives a clear injunction on dāna and bhojana (feeding) and links it to yajña-phala, showing how prescribed acts generate specific results (phala).
