Narada (in dialogue context with Sanatkumara tradition; instructional narration on vrata and dāna)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
Secondary Rasa: shanta (peace)
It teaches that annadāna (gift of grain/food) offered with reverence and as part of a properly completed vrata pleases the divine “world-teacher” and becomes a direct means for purification from sinful demerit.
Bhakti is expressed here as pleasing the Lord/Guru of the world through a concrete devotional act—charity joined to disciplined observance—showing devotion as lived service (sevā) rather than mere sentiment.
The emphasis is on correct ritual execution—“samyak” performance of a vrata—reflecting practical Kalpa (the Vedāṅga concerned with ritual procedure and vows) rather than grammar or astrology.
