Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
The verse teaches that sincere praise (stotra) offered within one’s capacity is a valid and potent form of bhakti, and that the deity responds swiftly when devotion is direct and focused.
It emphasizes accessible bhakti: one need not have elaborate resources—praising with heartfelt hymns “according to one’s ability” is presented as sufficient to invoke divine grace and results.
The practical takeaway relates to chandas and vyākaraṇa in stotra-recitation: hymns are traditionally preserved through correct meter and pronunciation, and the verse underscores using one’s competence while maintaining devotional intent.
