एवं बहुतिथं कालं नीत्वा यात्यन्तधैर्यवान् । ध्यायन्नारायणं देवं शीर्णपर्णाशनोऽभवत् ॥ ४९ ॥
evaṃ bahutithaṃ kālaṃ nītvā yātyantadhairyavān | dhyāyannārāyaṇaṃ devaṃ śīrṇaparṇāśano'bhavat || 49 ||
Như vậy, sau khi trải qua một thời gian vô cùng dài, người ấy—kiên định với nghị lực tối thượng—vẫn tiếp tục, nhất tâm quán niệm Đức Nārāyaṇa, và sống bằng những chiếc lá khô làm thức ăn.
