Narada (teaching within a dharma/vṛata discourse to the Sanatkumara tradition context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It teaches that Dharma is not only personal observance but also non-interference: obstructing another person’s vrata creates heavy negative karma leading to severe suffering.
Vratas often support Vishnu-bhakti and purification; by preventing others from practicing, one blocks devotion and incurs grave demerit—thus the text urges protection and encouragement of devotional discipline.
Ritual ethics and vrata-vidhi are emphasized: one should avoid creating vighnas (ritual obstacles) to others’ observances, a practical rule aligned with dharma-śāstra style guidance rather than a specific Vedanga technicality.
