Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It teaches that producing auspicious devotional sound—playing sacred instruments as part of worship—directly pleases Devesha (Hari/Vishnu), and that such bhakti expressed through ritual music yields specific spiritual merit (punya-phala).
Bhakti is shown as active delighting of the Lord through offerings of sound (vādya/kīrtana), emphasizing heartfelt celebration in worship rather than mere formality.
Primarily ritual practice (kalpa-oriented worship procedure): the verse points to regulated ceremonial accompaniment (instrumental offerings) as a recognized limb of pūjā meant to please the deity.
