Nay ta sẽ kể một chuyện tích xưa—hãy lắng nghe, hỡi bậc chúa tể dòng Daitya. Ai nghe với lòng tín thành sẽ được công đức phát sinh từ việc bố thí đất.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It elevates faithful listening (śravaṇa with śraddhā) to the level of a major charity, stating that hearing a sacred itihāsa can confer the same merit as bhūmidāna (gift of land).
By emphasizing attentive hearing with faith, it supports a core bhakti practice—receiving sacred teachings as a devotional act that purifies and yields great spiritual merit.
The verse chiefly highlights dharma-śāstra style teaching on dāna (charitable giving) and śravaṇa as a meritorious practice, rather than a specific Vedanga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa.
