तपास्तपस्य क्रमशश्चैत्रादीनां समाह्वयाः । यस्मिन्मासे पौर्णमासी येन धिष्ण्येन संयुता ॥ १३१ ॥

Transliteration

tapāstapasya kramaśaścaitrādīnāṃ samāhvayāḥ | yasminmāse paurṇamāsī yena dhiṣṇyena saṃyutā || 131 ||

Translation

Tapas và Tapasya, theo thứ tự, cũng là những danh xưng được đặt cho các tháng bắt đầu từ Caitra. Mỗi tháng được nhận biết bởi ngày trăng tròn (pūrṇimā) rơi vào tháng ấy và bởi chòm sao (nakṣatra) đặc thù mà trăng tròn ấy kết hợp cùng.
