Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 33

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

निर्बलं च तदादेश्यं वियोनेर्जन्म पंडितैः । शीर्षं वक्रगले पादावंसौ पृष्टमुरस्तथा ॥ ३३ ॥

nirbalaṃ ca tadādeśyaṃ viyonerjanma paṃḍitaiḥ | śīrṣaṃ vakragale pādāvaṃsau pṛṣṭamurastathā || 33 ||

Các bậc học giả tuyên rằng sự sinh viyonija ấy phải hiểu là “không có sức lực”, phát sinh từ bào thai bất thường (khiếm khuyết). Dấu hiệu của nó là: đầu, cổ (họng) cong, bàn chân, vai, lưng và ngực.
