Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning

गतगम्यांतराभ्यस्तं विभजेत्तत्त्वलोचनैः । तदवाप्तफलं योज्यं ज्यापिंडे गतसंज्ञके ॥ ९७ ॥

gatagamyāṃtarābhyastaṃ vibhajettattvalocanaiḥ | tadavāptaphalaṃ yojyaṃ jyāpiṃḍe gatasaṃjñake || 97 ||

Khoảng sai biệt giữa «gata» (đã đi) và «gamyā» (sắp đi), vốn được thực hành lặp lại, phải được những người thấy rõ nguyên lý đem chia phân tích. Kết quả thu được rồi đem cộng vào «jyā-piṇḍa» mang danh «gata».
