वर्गयोगोथ योगांतहंतिर्वर्गांतरं भवेत् । व्यास आकृतिसंक्षण्णोव्यासास्यात्परिधिर्मुने ॥ ४६ ॥

Transliteration

vargayogotha yogāṃtahaṃtirvargāṃtaraṃ bhavet | vyāsa ākṛtisaṃkṣaṇṇovyāsāsyātparidhirmune || 46 ||

Translation

Sự cộng các bình phương (varga-yoga) được lập, và phép “giảm ở cuối” của tích cho ra hiệu của các bình phương. Hỡi bậc hiền triết, đường kính (vyāsa) được xác định tùy theo hình thể đang xét; và từ đường kính ấy suy ra chu vi (paridhi).
