गजग्रीष्टकृतिर्व्यैका दलिता चेष्टभाजिता । एकोऽस्य वर्गो दलितः सैको राशिः परो मतः ॥ ३२ ॥

Transliteration

gajagrīṣṭakṛtirvyaikā dalitā ceṣṭabhājitā | eko'sya vargo dalitaḥ saiko rāśiḥ paro mataḥ || 32 ||

Translation

Lấy một đơn vị làm nền thao tác; khi giảm nó rồi chia theo quy tắc vận hành, thì thu được bình phương của lượng đã giảm. Chính đơn vị ấy lại được xem là rāśi kết quả, như các bậc hiền triết đã dạy.
