इष्टैः पलैस्तदूनाढ्यं व्यगावूनेऽर्कषङ्गुणः । तदन्यथाधिके तस्मिन्नेवं स्पष्टे सुखांत्यगे ॥ १५७ ॥

Transliteration

iṣṭaiḥ palaistadūnāḍhyaṃ vyagāvūne'rkaṣaṅguṇaḥ | tadanyathādhike tasminnevaṃ spaṣṭe sukhāṃtyage || 157 ||

Translation

Khi số pala được chỉ định bị thiếu hay thừa, kết quả cũng khuyết lệch theo đó; và khi phần thiếu bằng một vyagāva thì kết quả được nhân với hệ số của Mặt Trời là sáu. Nếu trái lại là thừa, thì kết quả được điều chỉnh tương ứng—như vậy phép tính được nêu rõ ràng, kết thúc nơi phần phân định của lạc quả (phúc báo thế gian).
