श्रीपर्णी च शमी तद्वत्खदिरश्च विकङ्कतः । पलाशश्चैव विज्ञेयाः स्रुवे चैव तथा स्रुचि ॥ ४० ॥
śrīparṇī ca śamī tadvatkhadiraśca vikaṅkataḥ | palāśaścaiva vijñeyāḥ sruve caiva tathā sruci || 40 ||
Cây Śrīparṇī và Śamī cũng vậy, cùng với Khadira và Vikaṅkata, lại thêm Palāśa—đều phải được hiểu là những loại gỗ thích hợp để làm muỗng rưới (sruva) và muỗng dâng cúng (sruc) trong nghi lễ.
