वृथा ज्ञानं यदन्यञ्च येनैतन्नोपलभ्यते । ऋमसंवत्सरौ तिष्यः शीतोष्णोऽथ प्रियाप्रिये ॥ ३८ ॥

vṛthā jñānaṃ yadanyañca yenaitannopalabhyate | ṛmasaṃvatsarau tiṣyaḥ śītoṣṇo'tha priyāpriye || 38 ||

Mọi học vấn khác đều là hư vọng—dù là gì đi nữa—nếu nhờ đó người ta không chứng ngộ “Điều Này” (chân lý tối thượng). Bằng không, người vẫn mắc kẹt trong các đối đãi: mùa và năm, sao Tiṣya, lạnh và nóng, điều ưa và điều ghét.
