श्रीब्रह्मोवाच । अथातः संप्रवक्ष्यामि तवाग्नेयपुराणकम् । ईशानकल्पवृत्तांतं वसिष्ठायानलोऽब्रवीत् ॥ १ ॥
śrībrahmovāca | athātaḥ saṃpravakṣyāmi tavāgneyapurāṇakam | īśānakalpavṛttāṃtaṃ vasiṣṭhāyānalo'bravīt || 1 ||
Đức Śrī Phạm Thiên phán: Nay ta sẽ giảng bày rõ ràng cho ngươi về Agneya Purāṇa—bản tường thuật theo Īśāna-kalpa—chính câu chuyện mà Thần Lửa Agni đã nói với hiền thánh Vasiṣṭha.
