FAQs

It emphasizes that a vrata is completed through both inner devotion (japa, stotra) and outer auspiciousness (mangala-gīta and vādyas), culminating in the dawn Dvādaśī worship with a prescribed ritual support (tila-pātra).

Bhakti is expressed here as continuous remembrance and praise—stotra-recitation and japa—performed with a sanctified, celebratory atmosphere, indicating that devotion is both heartfelt practice and reverent ritual offering.

Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Jyotiṣa-based tithi discipline are implied: the act is timed specifically for prabhāta on Dvādaśī and follows a concrete upacāra setup (establishing the worship-object on a tila vessel).
