Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in dialogue context)
Vrata: Āmalakī-vrata (contextual)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It links correct observance of a specific vrata—āmalakī worship on the bright Ekādaśī of Tapasya (Phālguna)—with the highest goal: reaching Viṣṇu’s supreme abode (parama-pada), presenting ritual devotion as a direct mokṣa-oriented practice.
Bhakti is expressed here as disciplined worship (pūjā) performed “according to vidhi” on Ekādaśī; the promised fruit is proximity to Viṣṇu, showing that regulated devotional observances (vrata + pūjā) are upheld as potent means to divine attainment.
It highlights ritual injunction (kalpa-style vidhi) and calendrical timing—bright Ekādaśī and the month Tapasya (Phālguna)—reflecting applied knowledge of sacred observance schedules (tithi/māsa) used in Purāṇic vrata practice.
