द्वादशमासेषु अष्टमी-व्रत-कथनम्

शयनं च प्रदातव्यं यथाशक्ति द्विजोत्तम । दशमेऽह्नि ततो मूर्तिं सद्रव्यां गुरवेऽर्पयेत् ॥ २४ ॥

Transliteration

śayanaṃ ca pradātavyaṃ yathāśakti dvijottama | daśame'hni tato mūrtiṃ sadravyāṃ gurave'rpayet || 24 ||

Translation

Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng người hai lần sinh, cũng nên bố thí một chiếc giường tùy theo khả năng. Rồi đến ngày thứ mười, hãy dâng lên Guru một mūrti (tượng thánh) cùng các vật quý thích đáng.
