Như vậy kết thúc chương thứ một trăm mười hai—mang tên “Tường thuật về lời nguyện (vrata) ngày thứ ba được giữ suốt mười hai tháng”—trong Phần Thứ Nhất của Śrī Bṛhannāradīya Purāṇa, thuộc Đại Tự Sự (Bṛhad-upākhyāna), ở Tiết (Pāda) thứ tư.
Colophon / redactional closure (not a spoken dialogue verse)
Vrata: Dvādaśa-māsa-tṛtīyā-vrata (Third-day vow observed through twelve months)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
This is a colophon that formally closes Adhyaya 112, preserving the Purāṇic transmission by naming the text, section (bhāga/pāda), and the chapter’s topic—here, a twelve-month Tṛtīyā-vrata—so practitioners and reciters can accurately locate and follow the prescribed dharma.
It does not teach bhakti directly; instead, it frames a vrata-narration section whose purpose is typically to support devotional discipline through month-by-month observances and the faithful hearing/recitation of the Purāṇa.
The verse reflects calendrical and ritual organization—using the lunar tithi term “tṛtīyā” and “dvādaśa-māsa” (twelve months)—which aligns with practical Jyotiṣa/kalā (time-reckoning) used to schedule vows and rites.
