Narada (traditional phala-śruti conclusion within the Narada Purana’s discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It functions as a phala-śruti, declaring that the act of reciting or even hearing this sacred passage purifies the listener, brings auspiciousness, and culminates in attaining Hari’s abode (a moksha-oriented fruit).
It highlights bhakti’s core practices—pāṭha (devotional recitation) and śravaṇa (devotional hearing)—as sufficient means to gain divine grace, with Hari (Vishnu) as the ultimate refuge and goal.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is the discipline of śravaṇa-pāṭha (listening/recitation) as a dharmic practice that sustains memory, correct chanting habits, and steady devotional study.
