Matsya Purana — Rites for Consecrating and Celebrating Trees, Shloka 9

कुम्भान्सर्वेषु वृक्षेषु स्थापयित्वा नरेश्वर सहिरण्यानशेषांस्तान् कृत्वा बलिनिवेदनम् //

kumbhānsarveṣu vṛkṣeṣu sthāpayitvā nareśvara sahiraṇyānaśeṣāṃstān kṛtvā balinivedanam //

Tâu Đại vương, sau khi đặt các bình nghi lễ (kumbha) tại mọi gốc cây và trang bị cho mỗi bình vàng đầy đủ, bấy giờ hãy dâng lễ bali (cúng hiến để an hòa) một cách trọn vẹn.
