क्रमागतं मयाप्येतत् तुभ्यं नोक्तं युगद्वयम् ऋषिवंशप्रसङ्गेन व्याकुलत्वात्तथा क्रमात् //

Transliteration

kramāgataṃ mayāpyetat tubhyaṃ noktaṃ yugadvayam ṛṣivaṃśaprasaṅgena vyākulatvāttathā kramāt //

Translation

Dẫu đề tài này đã đến theo đúng trình tự, ta vẫn chưa nói với ngươi về hai yuga ấy; bởi vì do vướng vào mạch chuyện về dòng dõi các Ṛṣi, ta đã tiếp tục theo trật tự đó và bị xao lãng bởi sự xen kẽ ấy.
