Adhyaya 85 — The Gods’ Hymn to the Goddess and the Emergence of Kaushiki; Shumbha Sends His Envoy
ऋषिरुवाच एवṃ स्तवादियुक्तानां देवानां तत्र पार्वती ।
स्त्रातुमभ्याययौ तोये जाह्नव्याः नृपनन्दन ॥
ṛṣir uvāca evaṃ stavādiyuktānāṃ devānāṃ tatra pārvatī / strātum abhyāyayau toye jāhnavyā nṛpanandana
Vị hiền triết nói: Như vậy, khi chư thiên đang chuyên tâm tụng ca và tán thán, Pārvatī đã đến nơi ấy để tắm trong dòng nước Jāhnavī (tức sông Gaṅgā), hỡi bậc làm vui lòng các vua.
