Adhyaya 84 — The Gods’ Hymn after the Slaying of Mahishasura and the Goddess’ Boon
त्रैलोक्यमेतदखिलं रिपुनाशनेन त्रातं त्वया समरमूर्धनि तेऽपि हत्वा ।
नीता दिवं रिपुगणा भयमप्यपास्तम् अस्माकमुन्मदसुरारिभवं नमस्ते ॥
trailokyametadakhilaṃ ripunāśanena trātaṃ tvayā samaramūrdhani te 'pi hatvā / nītā divaṃ ripugaṇā bhayamapyapāstam asmākamunmadasurāribhavaṃ namaste
Toàn thể ba cõi này đã được Ngài cứu độ nhờ tiêu diệt kẻ thù; ngay trên đỉnh điểm chiến trận, Ngài đã giết chúng và đưa đạo quân đối nghịch lên trời (tức vào cõi chết), khiến nỗi sợ của chúng con được dứt trừ. Kính lễ Ngài, nguồn gốc chiến thắng của chúng con trước những kẻ thù asura cuồng loạn.
