जातो नीतः कृतान्तेन कामप्याशां दुरात्मना ॥

Transliteration

aho kaṣṭaṃ narendrasya kasyāpy eṣa kule śiśuḥ | jāto nītaḥ kṛtāntena kām apy āśāṃ durātmanā ||

Translation

Than ôi, thật đau đớn cho một vị vua nào đó—đứa trẻ này, sinh trong một dòng dõi vương gia, đã bị Kṛtānta (Tử thần) tàn nhẫn cướp đi, cùng với chút hy vọng (về sự sống).
