Adhyaya 62The Fire-God Enters the Brahmin Youth; Varuthini’s Love-Sickness and Kali’s Disguise

त्वया त्यक्ता न सन्देहः परित्यक्ष्यामि जीवितम् ।

तत्राधर्मः कष्टतरोः क्रियालोपो भविष्यति ॥

tvayā tyaktā na sandehaḥ parityakṣyāmi jīvitam | tatrā dharmaḥ kaṣṭataraḥ kriyā-lopo bhaviṣyati ||

Nếu bị chàng bỏ rơi—không nghi ngờ gì—thiếp sẽ từ bỏ mạng sống. Khi ấy, một sự phi pháp khắc nghiệt hơn sẽ phát sinh nơi đó, và các bổn phận nghi lễ sẽ bị sao lãng.
