Brahmā
CosmologyBrahman/purityRestraint of destructive forcesAuthority of the creator

FAQs

Even when a destructive force is ‘created,’ it remains subject to higher discernment and restraint. The verse grounds ethical governance in metaphysical purity: the cosmic ruler acts from a standpoint of śuddhi (clarity), not rage.

Touches Sarga in the sense of creator-function and causal principle; used here mainly for ethical instruction (niyama of harmful forces).

Brahmā as ‘sarvabrahmamaya’ indicates that true authority over tamas arises from alignment with the imperishable ground (Brahman). Psychologically: clarity can speak to compulsion and redirect it.
