Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
सत्त्वमात्रात्मिकामेव ततोऽन्यां जगृहे तनुम् ।
पितृवन्मन्यमानस्य पितरस्तस्य जज्ञिरे ॥
sattvamātrātmikām eva tato 'nyāṃ jagṛhe tanum |
pitṛvan manyamānasya pitaras tasya jajñire ||
Rồi Ngài mang lấy một thân khác, thuần nhất là sattva. Khi Ngài tư duy theo thể thức như các Pitṛ, thì các Pitṛs (Tổ linh) được sinh ra từ Ngài.
