Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
सृष्ट्वा मनुष्याञ् स विभुरुत्ससर्ज तनुं ततः ।
ज्योत्स्ना समभवत् सा च नक्तान्तेऽहर्मुखे च या ॥
sṛṣṭvā manuṣyān sa vibhur utsasarja tanuṃ tataḥ / jyotsnā samabhavat sā ca naktānte 'harmukhe ca yā
Sau khi tạo ra loài người, Đấng Chúa Tể bao trùm khắp ấy liền rũ bỏ một thân thể. Từ thân ấy phát sinh ánh trăng (jyotsnā), hiện ra vào cuối đêm và lúc mở đầu ngày mới.
