Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)

प्रतोददण्डौ च तथा सम्यग्वर्णाः कृतक्रियाः ।

स्ववर्णधर्मनिर्दिष्टमुपादानं तथा क्रियाः ॥

Transliteration

pratodadaṇḍau ca tathā samyag varṇāḥ kṛtakriyāḥ /

svavarṇadharmanirdiṣṭam upādānaṃ tathā kriyāḥ

Translation

Cũng vậy đối với roi thúc và gậy: các varṇa, sau khi đã hoàn tất nghi lễ một cách đúng đắn, nên cầm lại các vật dụng cần thiết và thực hiện các hành vi theo đúng bổn phận của varṇa mình như đã quy định.
